3. Lack Of Formatting Options
WordPress comes with two types of writing areas in their post editor. The first is Visual Editor, which is a WYSIWYG editor, and the second is Text Editor which is a plain text editor. Constantly switching from Visual to Text and vice versa will ruin your formatting. An easy solution is to stick with the Text editor and learn some basic HTML formatting. Should you want or need to use Visual Editor, try using the TinyMCE advanced plugin. This plugin extends the default WordPress Visual Editor with more a lot more formatting options.
4. Getting Locked Out Of WordPress
Often times people end up accidentally locking themselves out of their WordPress admin area. It happens all too often. WordPress shows your full articles in the RSS Feed. What does this mean? It means that users reading your posts in a feed reader will have absolutely no reason to visit your website.
You can easily change this in the WordPress admin area. All you have to do is go to the Settings » Reading page and scroll down to ‘For each article in a feed, show’ option and select Summary. Click on the save changes button to store your settings.
7. Comment Spam
Spam comments are one of the most annoying things that occur when you have a website or blog. Although WordPress comes with built-in comment moderation to deal with spam comments, comment spam can grow at a highly accelerated rate. Before you know it, you will be spending a lot more time that you should moderating comments. How can we fix this? Well, you need to start using Akismet.
